ONLINE RENT AGREEMENT REGISTRATION

Faq Question

It is a new facility introduced by the Maharashtra Government that enables you to register your Leave and License/ Rent Agreement online without visiting the sub registration office. Signatures are captured using a biometric devices and user details are verified using UID system.

All parties should have Aadhaar Card and Owner must have PAN Card,Electricity Bill/Index 2/Property Tax of Rental Flat.

It takes 2 to 3 working days to get Registered Rent Agreement.

Notarized Rent Agreement can not be considered as a Valid document Address proof by the Department, it should be Registered Document.

There are 2 witness are required for Rent Agreement Registration online. Both the witness should have Aadhaar should be available at the time of execution.

Process

Online E-Registration is time convenient, & money saving way of Registration. To available this facility All parties including 2 witness should have PAN & Aadhaar Card Number. Online E-Registration process have following steps -

  • 1. Fill Information
  • 2. Online Data Entry
  • 3. Execution (Capturing thumb impression and photo)
  • 4. Submission for Registration.
  • 4. Registered Dcument from Government.

Required Documents

Following document list are required to do Online Rent Agreement / Leave and License Agreement.

  • 1. PAN Card & Aadhaar Card of Owner
  • 2. Only Aadhaar Card of Tenant and Witness
  • 3. Electricity Bill/Index II/Property Tax.

Notary Agreement

Following document list are required to do Notarized Agreement / Notarized Leave and License Agreement.

  • 1. One ID Proof (PAN, Aadhaar) of all parties,
  • 2. One Photograph of each party,
  • 3. Electricity Bill/Index II/Property Tax.
